Introducing ClearPath Studio
In my years as a skill hoarder, I’ve struggled with getting focused, and staying focused. The very nature of skill hoarding is to always be acquiring a new skill or tool or perspective. This has led to many situations where it’s been difficult to find clarity on what I’m ultimately working towards, and challenging to decide what to focus on between the many things calling for my attention.
To address this, I’ve started building and using a tool I’ve named ClearPath Studio. (https://clearpathstudio.com) ClearPath is a visual interface that allows me to quickly capture ideas, processes, and goals, easily group them according to topic, priority, semantics, and create structured relationships between the items to create powerful data structures that give valuable insights for creating actionable and realistic plans for success.
I know that’s a lot of words that could mean a lot of things. Which is why I’m creating a series of videos to show what ClearPath does, over on the SkillHoarder youtube channel.
I’ve been using ClearPath Studio for the past few weeks, and it has greatly shifted and clarified my priorities of what to focus on in my business. I’m hoping others will find it useful as well. I’ll be opening if up in the next few weeks for early access to those who are interested, and we’ll see where it goes!
In the “3 steps” framework I shared in the last blog post, I’d say ClearPath is still very much in stage 1 ‘exploration’ or ‘conceptualization’. While there is a functional proof of concept with some refinement being done on a few specific aspects, there is still much to do to determine the right market fit before it makes sense to begin the stage 2 work of refining the full product.
Continuing to build out ClearPath will be a good case study of how the three stage framework can be applied to optimize product development. Stay on the lookout for more posts on this coming soon :)
